It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Gordon Bobbitt, age 56, on Monday January 1, 2024 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in North Sydney on May 1, 1967, Gordon was the son of the late Robert and Gwendalyn (Tobin) Bobbitt. In his younger years Gordon would spend much of his time volunteering at Haley Street Adult Services.
Gordon is survived by his daughter Star; his siblings – Brian Bobbitt (Wendy), Alan Bobbitt and Irene (Joe) Conway. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his good friend Charles Hickman.
Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his sister Lois (Bill) Clevitt.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home at 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. There will no service at this time. Online condolences can be left for the family by writing on the tribute wall of the obituary page at www.wjdooley.com
