HINDS, Lawrence William ~ age 77 of Nictaux South, NS passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at home. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late William and Myrtle (Naugler) Hinds. Lawrence worked as a DJ in the Ottawa area for many years. He was an avid sports fan that loved the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is survived by his brother, Gilbert Hinds, Nictaux South; his sisters, Marion Criece, Carrying Place, ON, and Linda Mullin (Douglas Robishaw) Brickton, NS; nieces and nephews, Kim (Al) Reynolds, Earl Criece, Angela (Michael) Allison, Pauline (Junior) Keddy, Carl Mullin; great nieces and great nephews, Tyler Reynolds, Hunter Allison, Porsche Reynolds, Cole Allison, and Shelby Benjamin. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Arnold Hinds, brothers-in-law Merle Criece and Chris Mullin, and sister-in-law Sylvia Hinds. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 23,2024 in the Nictaux Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Milne officiating. Donations in memory may be made to IWK Health Centre Foundation.
