Chute, Laurie Lin – 60, of Harmony, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Roy and Noreen (Lutz) Chute. Laurie was a mechanic for 35 years, working at many locations across the valley, mainly Canadian Tire, Petro Can in Greenwood, and the Morristown Garage. He was an honest, hard-working man who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and most of all, fishing in the great outdoors. Surviving are his wife of 33 years Sally Cooper, Harmony; children, Sam Chute, Harmony; Natasha Cooper, Harmony; James (Tracey) Cooper, Meadowvale; six grandchildren; one great grandchildren; brother Robert Chute, Torbrook; a nephew and niece. Donations in memory of Laurie may be made to any local children’s charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448.
