Ryan’s Obituary
SAULNIER, Ryan U. – Age 30, of Meteghan Station, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 with his family and best friend, Louis, by his side. He was the only son of Basil Saulnier and Sandra (Gaudet) Saulnier.
Ryan had a big heart and the courage to show love and kindness for everyone, especially for his family. Young Landyn and Sawyer were very special to him. He always enjoyed his Sunday suppers with his grandmother and making BBQ for her on Wednesdays.
Throughout his 4 year battle, Ryan never once complained. He would never discuss his fight with anyone, not even his closest friends. He would always say, “It is what it is.” His cousin Michelle labeled him a silent warrior. Spending time gaming with his friends and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs gave him a sense of joy.
Ryan respected each holiday and would always dress up for the occasion, even dressing as Santa Claus for the children in his life. His favorites were the Canoe Trip, Christmas and Halloween.
Ryan is survived by his paternal grandmother, Doris Saulnier; aunts, Doreen and Sally; uncles, Randy, Dave, Roy, Richard; special cousin, Michelle; Jaime, Renel and Meagan.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Rita and Octave Gaudet; paternal grandfather, Ulysse Saulnier; uncles, Joey, Ronald, Randy, Russell; cousin, Camryn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home where public visitations will be from 6-8pm on Friday, November 8th. A public graveside service will be held Saturday, at 2 pm in Stella Maris Cemetery, Meteghan Centre.
Donations in Ryan’s memory may be made to Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association.
