Daniel’s Obituary
NOAH, Daniel Arthur – Son of the late Arthur and Delorie (Connick) Noah passed away Monday, December 9th, 2024 at home with family by his side after five years of suffering with COPD and lung cancer.
Dan was a man of many skills and worked hard all his life with his dad. Educated in Yarmouth schools and St. Francis Xavier University, he never stopped thinking how things worked. Proud member of the Rock Around the Clock reunions where he enjoyed seeing many old schoolmates and friends.
Married to his wife Sandra (MacLeod) for over 62 years, they raised three children: Dana Noah, Vancouver; Art (Andrea) Noah, Meteghan; Robert Noah, at home with whom Daniel spent many years rehabilitating from a serious brain and body injury in 1984. They were quite the team. He is also survived by three lovely granddaughters, Erica (Nick) Lasher Coates, Meteghan and their girls, Evelyn and Lydia; Lauren Noah, Meteghan and her daughter, Marci and step-son, Charles; Carmen Noah, Vancouver. Besides his immediate family, Daniel leaves his friends, Don MacLeod (Colleen) of Ashdale and Norman Amirault of Yarmouth.
Many thanks to all those special people who looked after Daniel in the last eight months; the VON of Yarmouth and Digby County, Home Support worker Lori, the Palliative Care Team of Dr. Cooper and Amanda Thibault, Dr. Roland Muise and The Maid Team who were wonderful.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held in the spring of 2025.
No more pain.
