Obituary
MACINTOSH, John Allen – 72 of Sandy Point passed away on Thursday July 4, 2024 at Roseway Manor, Sandy Point. Born August 15, 1951 he was the youngest son of the late Regionel MacIntosh and Helen MacIntosh Johnson.
John lived in West Green Harbour all of his life. He worked at National Sea and also was a lobster fisherman. John looked after his mother for many years, when his health declined he moved to Shelburne to live at Mary’s Abide Awhile and then on to Roseway Manor. He will truly be missed by Debbie and Del as they spent a lot of time with him over the years.
He is survived by his brothers; William (Roberta) of Lockeport, Lionel of British Columbia, Delma (Debbie) of Lockeport along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers; Fred, Russel, Robert, Raymond and Malcolm.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. Cremation has taken place and as per John’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
