It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Barbara (Trenchard) Stephenson on October 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Carolyn passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a brief battle with cancer.
Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Greg; daughters, Tammy, Kelly; sister, Nancy; grandchildren, Sophia, Douglas, Austin; numerous other family members and friends.
She grew up in Three Fathom Harbour, daughter of the late Golda (Patterson) and Robert Trenchard. She enjoyed a 36-year career with IMP Aerospace and Defence.
A Celebration of Life honouring Carolyn will be held Saturday, November 2, from 2-4 p.m., at Calvin United Church Hall, 3795 Lawrencetown Road, Lawrencetown, N.S.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, cancer.ca/en/
The family would like to gratefully thank the Palliative Care Unit at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and the VON for the exemplary care provided to Carolyn during the past two months.
