Obituary of Lucy Catherine Jean Chiasson, New Waterford
Jean Chiasson, age 91 of New Waterford passed away peacefully at home on Friday December 27, 2024.
Born in New Waterford, Jean was the daughter of the late, Rannie S. and Mary Louise (Leforte) MacDonald.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Donna and sons, Ray (Paula), Tim (Brenda), Bernie (Lisa) and Paul; grandchildren, Michael, Deborah, Tim Jr, Brett, Brittany, Leigha, Josh and Cassie; great grandchildren Lyla, Dahlia, Thatcher, Ellie, Sterling and Emme; her sisters Shirley (Joe) O`Quinn, Ceanne (David) Hall; brothers, Danny (Joan) MacDonald and Albert (Linda) MacDonald.
Besides her parents Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Bernie Chiasson; brothers Neil, Paddy, Louie and her sister Bernadette Heinecamp.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. A graveside service will take place during the summer in Mount Carmel Cemetery, New Waterford.
Donations in memory of Jean can be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Pediatric Ward, the IWK or to a charity of your choice.
