Foster, John Wayne- 73, of Mount Hanley passed away August 2, 2024 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born August 17, 1950 in Middleton, he was the son of the late Gordon and Sylvia (Banks) Foster.
John worked tirelessly cutting wood and farming. His cattle were very important to him, and he hated having the coyotes around to bother them. He was a great father and grandfather.
John is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Sheila, Port George, Johnny (Brenda), Mount Hanley, Norma (Danny), Prince Albert, Brian (Becky), Kingston, Steven (Keesha) Mount Hanley; grandchildren, Cody, Carrie, Holly, Amanda, Kristen, Becky, Courtney, Jack, Jennifer, Crystal, Abigail, Bentley; sisters, Clara Banks, Pearl (Lonnie) Taylor, Inez Taylor, Flossie (Laurie) Benjamin; sister in-law, Marion; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by brother, Gordon, and brother in infancy; brothers in-law, Russell and Robie.
A graveside service will be held 4pm Saturday, August 10, in Fundy View Cemetery, Port Lorne, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, or Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
