Obituary
WILLIAMS, Kara Lucy – 38, Barrington, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Friday, September 6, 2024, after a year and a half battle with breast cancer. She was the only daughter of Eric and Lois (D’eon) Amirault, who miss her dearly. She was a loving wife to Colin and a wonderful mother to Julia who she adored with all her heart. She is also survived by grand-père, Pierre; father and mother-in-law, Gary and Connie; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Aaron; adored niece, Adelynn; her childhood best friend, Nicole (Adam); good friend, Nerissa (Jared); and many, many, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers who adored her dearly. Kara worked as a hairdresser out of her home business where she met many clients who she loved chatting with. She also worked part time at Sobeys. Kara, Colin, and Julia went on as many adventures. They loved going for drives looking for deer. She enjoyed ice caps and watching Julia play soccer, skate at Canskate, she never missed a moment. She also enjoyed yearly trips to Yogi. She self-taught herself to knit and made many beautiful blankets, hats, etc. We are left to mourn a beautiful soul. She was predeceased by her grand-mère, Georgette; grand-père, Leslie; grand-mère, Lottie; niece, Amber Nicole; and cousin, Mark. Arrangements have been entrusted to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. The family would like to take this time to thank the oncology team at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Dr. Davidson of Halifax, and the nurses and doctors who took care of her while she was in the hospital. There will be no visitation and a private family graveside will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
