Harold Landry of River Bourgeois Born November 27th 1933 passed away October 20th 2024. Harold was the son of the late Amable and Anastatia Landry and step father Peter Boudreau.
He left behind his devoted wife of 65 years Georgie (Lawson) Landry (River Bourgeois), his 4 children, George Landry (Sheila) Elmsdale, Michelle Bona (Stanley) L’Ardoise, Denise Touesnard (Melvin), River Bourgeois and Lawson Landry (Jennifer) West Arichat. He leaves two remaining sisters, Susan Boudreau and Loraine MacPhee (River Bourgeois). Also 5 grandchildren, Joey, Mathew and Randy Touesnard, and Adam, Morgan Bona plus 4 great grandchildren. Harold’s first love was watching racing and, in his youth. He raced cars all over the Maritimes and enjoyed building cars. He was a Marine Engineer and sailed all over the world, He worked as a heavy-duty mechanic, drove tractor trailers and was also a millwright. After retiring, he loved his boats and working on boats in the area for others. Harold was a volunteer for the Mariner’s society, where he was honored with volunteer of the month Richmond County. Donations can be made to the Mariner’s society of River Bourgeois.
We would like to thank Leslie Lerue, the palliative care nurse for her kind and dedicated service, as well as the Strait Richmond hospital staff and the Palliative care staff who made Harold and his family comfortable until the end.
There will be no visitation or funeral mass per request. Burial will take place at a later date.
