MARCHAND, Mary Lucille – Arichat
It is with great sadness that we the family of Mary Lucille Marchand (nee Jollymore) announce her peaceful passing at the age of 88 with her loving family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Evangeline and Percy Jollymore, and she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her children Ronnie (Gayle), Michelle (Leonard), Shelley (Paul); special godchild Theresa Boudreau; sons-in-law Ron Dillerop, and Stephen Sullivan.
She was an awesome Mémé to Santana, Becky Tristan, Tiffany, Courtney, and Caitlin.
She also loved and enjoyed the title of Grand-Mémé to Hayden, Ryleigh, Trent, Naomi, Kelby, Sophie, and Myla.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gaston Marchand; son Ronald in infancy; daughter Colette, and grandson Devan in infancy; brothers Percy, Joe, George, and Alfred; sisters Evangeline, Irene, Mildred, Loretta, Mary, Catherine, and Marcella.
There will be no visitation or church service by request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Society (NS), St Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre, or a charity of choice.
The family would like to extend a Thank you to Dr. Laurie MacNeil, and staff at St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre for taking such good care of our mother in her final hours.
