DECOSTE, Lawrence Raymond, 101 of Arichat
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence Raymond DeCoste that occurred in his residence at St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat on November 27th, 2023. Born in Arichat on August 8th, 1922, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Mombourquette) DeCoste.
Raymond will be sadly missed by his sons Patrick (Diane), New Glasgow, Ronnie, Arichat; daughters Blanch Smith, Petit de Grat, Barbara George, Arichat; numerous grand and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by wife Mary Emillia (Gaudet); son Joseph Napoleon; brothers Xyste, Freddie, Albert, Joe; sisters Barbara Brown, Jeanette Larsen and Mary Louise Pertus.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on December 6th at 11am in Our Lady Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd in Arichat.
