LEROUX, Gerard Matthew –
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gerard Matthew Leroux of St. Peter’s, formerly of L’Ardoise which occurred at the Richmond Villa in St Peter’s on September 14th, 2024.
Born February 24th, 1935 in L’Ardoise, Gerard was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Mombourquette) Leroux.
Gerard loved his music and animals. Always reminisces about “Old Times”, and he never misses any details. He was a great gentle soul, and how he loved his fur baby Brody.
He is survived by his special niece Margaret Beaver (Leroux), Halifax; brother Clem Leroux, L’Ardoise.
He will sadly be missed by Maggie and all his family.
The family would like to extend Thanks to “All” the staff at the Richmond Villa for the excellent care they gave to Gerard while he was in their care. A Special Thank You is also extended to Evelyn and Howard for brightening Gerard’s days with music and laughter.
A Graveside Service and burial will be held in the Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery, L’Ardoise, on Monday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Yake officiating.
