2023, in Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John, New
Brunswick.

Antigonish, raised in Knoydart, Antigonish Co., he was a son of the
late Reginald and Catherine (Gillis)
Richard.
Roy enjoyed
life. He made many friends and like all he
met.
He is
survived by his, sisters: Mary (Bernie), Margie, Florence
(Robert); brothers: Peter, Antigonish, Robert, Alberta,
Lawrence, Ontario, John, Halifax and Curtis,
Antigonish.
Predeceased
by his sisters, Helen and Joan; and his brother,
Joe.
Cremation has
taken place. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street,
Antigonish. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September
30th, in St. Mary’s Church,
Lismore, at 3:00 pm, with Fr. Colin MacKinnon
presiding.
