Margaret Louise, age 92, formerly of Truro, passed away on May 28,
2024, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care,
Guysborough.
Born July
28,1931, in Tatamagouche Mountain, Margaret was one of eleven children
of the late Russell and Inez(McLellan)
Thompson.
She is
survived by brother, Clifford (Sandra) Thompson, Ontario; sister, Kori
(Otis) Nickerson, Ontario; son, Dale (Silva) Hyson; daughters, Joy
(Greg) Wier, Aspen; Inez (Allan) Wood, Waverley; grandchildren, Ian
(Jaslyne) Bridges; Michael (Agata) Bridges; Matthew (Samantha) Hyson;
Kimberly Hyson (Tyler Wood); Mark Hyson (Ceanna Kowal); Sarah Hyson
(Greg Hingley); Brenton Wier; Megan (Devin) Green; Lauren Wier; Hannah
(Philip) Shackleton; Keigan Wood; Maya Wood; great-grandchildren,
Jessica Bridges; Jordyn Bridges; Bryce Hyson; Ava Kowal; Flynn Hyson;
Autumn Hyson; Aiden Green.
Predeceased
by sons, Murray Hyson and Blaine Hyson; and daughter, Eleanor
Bridges.
Margaret
started her first job as a school teacher, then married and raised 6
children. She was a very hard worker and when her mind was made up, it
was not changed. She had many other jobs during her life on earth. She
was extremely energetic and always on the go. She enjoyed travelling
with her family. She loved children – especially her grandchildren and
great grandchildren. She was witty, intelligent, and full of life. She
was loved and will be missed by all.
A special

Cremation has
taken place, and a private family burial will take place in
Tatamagouche Mountain.
