It is with great sadness we announce the passing of
Roy Loraine Mossman, age 94, of Amherst.
Roy passed away on March 1, 2024 at the Cumberland Regional Health
Care Centre with family by his side.
Born in Riverport, NS, he was a son of the late Laurence and
Blanche (Himmelman) Mossman.
Roy was formerly employed with Robb Engineering, and then
Enheat/IMP Aerospace, retiring in 1994.
Roy will be dearly missed by his 2
daughters, Susan and Jane; a son, Laurence (Christine); a foster son,
Gregory McPhee; 3 grandchildren Courtney, Christian and Brandi; 3
great grandchildren, Oliveah, Gabriel and Samuel, as well as his
sister Eleanor Fitzgerald.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister
Florence Dexter and grandson Tyler O’Hearn.
Arrangements are in care of Jones Family
Funeral Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS
(902-667-8777). Honoring Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and
there will be no services at this time.
Donations in memory of Roy may be made to Ducks Unlimited Canada
(Amherst).
