Jamie’s Obituary
James Clifford Durling
Feb 21, 1971 – Nov 11, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jamie Durling on November 11th, 2024. He leaves to mourn his wife, Shelley (Martin), and sons Brady James and Wyatt Clifford. Jamie is also survived by his father, Clifford, and mother Joan (Graham), brother Mark (Krista), and nephews Dylan, Jacob, Ethan, and Alex. Jamie was a loving father, husband, and friend to everyone. Jamie was a dedicated and determined worker, always on the move and never one to sit still. He could often be found tinkering with or fixing something, always eager to lend a hand to others. Jamie embraced the challenge of new projects and took great joy in teaching his two boys, sharing his knowledge and introducing them to new skills along the way.
Jamie started his career at Sabian, then worked for the Woodstock Fire Department for over 18 years, before moving to the Public Works Department, where he was currently employed. Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th from 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm, at Scott Funeral Home Chapel, with a Service to begin at 4 pm.
Rev. Dale MacDonald will be officiating.
