It is with a sense of profound loss that the friends of the late Russell Brian Smith announce his passing on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at his residence in Sus, NB. Russell was born on November 15, 1953, in Sus, New Brunswick.
Russell will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his many neighbours and friends in both the Sus and Hampton areas.
Russell spent most of his life as a mail carrier for Canada Post. He was a lover of the outdoors and had a deep appreciation for all the wildlife that rural New Brunswick has to offer. Though he was a very private person by nature, he was the type who quickly would become a friend to all who crossed his path. He would offer you the shirt off his back and will be remembered as a friendly and respected neighbour.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). All arrangements will be held privately.
