Obituary of Lois Faye Simpson
It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Lois Faye Simpson announce her passing on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton, NB. Born in Sus, NB on August 24, 1957, she was a daughter of the late John “Wes” and Helen (Ganong) Gailey.
Lois, will live on in the hearts of her brothers: Sydney Gailey (Cathy Melvin) of Kierstead Mountain and Edward Gailey (Anna) of Head of Millstream; her sister: Pearl Douthwright of Sus; her brother-in-law, Myles McCully of Millstream; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Bettle of Manitoba. Lois is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by her brothers, Howard, George, and Aubrey; her sister, Nettie Gailey; and her brother-in-law, Earl Douthwright.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176) from where a visitation will take place on Friday, June 28, from 10-11am, followed by a celebration of Lois’ life at 11:00am in the Wallace Community Chapel.
Donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Living Memorial, or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com
