Obituary of Dennis Belliveau
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dennis Joseph Belliveau announce his passing at the Sus Health Centre on December 14, 2024 at the age of 71.
Born in Blacks Harbour, NB on September 26, 1953; he was the son of the late Edward and Helen “Nellie” (Godin) Belliveau.
In his younger years, Dennis had a love of hockey and baseball. Later in life he became an avid golfer, making many friends over the years. He had a passion for music and could play any instrument he was handed, but his true passion in life was family and the time he spent with them.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Ruth; his special daughter, Miranda Whiteside and her husband Mike of Wards Creek; his sisters: Linda Belliveau and her husband Ron of Stanley and Colleen Levitt French and her husband Steve of St. George; his sisters-in-law: Enid Adair and her husband George of Adair Rd and Shirley McLeod of Penobsquis; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews and numerous cousins with whom he was very close and his dear “coffee friends”.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his niece, Christa and by his brother-in-law, Dick McLeod.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176). As per Dennis’ wishes, no visitation or service will be held. A Celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date.
Donations to Trinity Cemetery or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Donations and personal condolences to the family may be made through www.wallacefuneralhome.com
