Obituary of Dan Howlett
It’s with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Alexander Howlett on June 19th 2024.
He will be greatly missed by his loving partner Katie Jones, parents Paul (Carolyn) Howlett, Katherine Groenewegen (Rob), brothers; David (Santina), Michael (Chen), Logan, Landon and sister Lauren.
Parents in-law Linda Lawton and Steve Jones, brother in law Jeremiah. Grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and all family and friends will miss his interesting conversation and smile.
Dan started his life in Kingsville Ontario, but in his early 20’s he started to travel all over the world pursuing his love of rock climbing and experiencing many adventures and different cultures.
Dan and Katie’s paths crossed over several years in cherry orchards where a loving partnership developed. Their love of animals and outdoors were instrumental in finally settling in New Brunswick, on The Red Top Ranch in Hammondvale. When tackling any project Dan’s industriousness and ingenuity shone through. His love of cooking and eating went hand in hand in producing many tasty feasts with family and friends.
He had a kind heart and was quick to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Dan developed many lasting friendships. His community, family, pets and friends will surely feel the void of his absence.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176).
