Obituary of Austin Edward Gallant
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Austin Edward Gallant announce his passing on Friday, August 16, 2024, at his residence in Sus, NB. Born in Moncton, NB on January 19, 1949, he was a son of the late Frank and Laura (Doiron) Gallant.
Austin will live on in the hearts of his stepchildren: Peter Erb of Sus, NB, and Dianne Erb (Dan) of Saskatchewan; his step grandchildren: Chris and Kirsten; and his brother, Lester Gallant (Barb) of Sus, NB. Austin is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and his wife, Shirley, Austin was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph, James, and Walter; his sisters, Katherine and Yvonne; and his niece, Diane Derrisseau.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). In keeping with Austin’s wishes, all events will be held privately.
Donations in memory of Austin may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through wallacefuneralhome.com
