It is with great sadness the passing of our dear Dad, Soloman
Merchant, which occurred unexpectedly at the Charlotte County
Hospital, St Stephen, NB on Sunday July 14, 2024.
He is the son of the late Percy and Florence Merchant of
Chamcook, NB.
Soloman is survived by his three girls, Annette Harmon
(Bill), Jane Calhoun and Cynthia McLaughlin (Carl), one sister, Hazel
Wilcox, several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great- great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Dad was predeceased by his wife
Pearl, son, Levi, several brothers and sisters.
By Dad’s wish, there will be no visitation
held.
A private family graveside service will be held at The Chapel
of Ease of Saint John, The Baptist Cemetery in Chamcook,
NB.
Donations in Dad’s memory to a charity of
one’s choice would be appreciated. Condolences to
