After brave and courageous battle with
cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gordon M.
Stewart on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at the Charlotte County
Hospital, St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
Gordon was born in 1967, in St Stephen,
New Brunswick. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Jenny
Stewart of Pleasant Ridge, New Brunswick.
Gordon was an avid woodsman with a
great passion for hunting and fishing. His younger years, he
enjoyed working his skidder in the woods. He could operate
and repair any piece of machinery that he ran.
Gordon is survived by his children;
Emily Stewart, Samantha Stewart, Nicholas Scott (Kiersten), William
Scott, Christina Purdy (Chris), Stephanie Stewart and Matthew Stewart
(Tanya), several brothers, sisters and grandchildren, his
lifelong friend Joanne Scott and beloved dog Hatchet, who was always
by his side!
A very special thank you to the staff
at the oncology department at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint
John, New Brunswick and the staff of the palliative care at the
Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
In keeping with Gordon’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
services.
In lieu of flowers, the family would
appreciate donations to the Charlotte County SPCA, in his
