It is with great sadness to announce the passing of E. Ann
Garrett (Hunter) at the Wauklehegan Manor in McAdam, NB on Monday July
1, 2024.
Ann was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eunice (Williams)
of McAdam, NB.
Ann will be remembered for her extensive teaching career in
many different areas including Perth Andover, McAdam, Sus,
Fredericton, Shawville Quebec and as far as Glasgow
Scotland.
Always giving back to the community and helping others was
very important to Ann. She served on the South Centre
Development Council and McAdam Public Library Board. Ann
volunteered for Meals on Wheels and McAdam Seniors Complex.
She was a very proud member of the St George Anglican Church in
McAdam.
In her spare time, Ann enjoyed travelling the world and
exploring new cultures.
Ann is survived by her three stepchildren, Heather Gayton
(Darwin) of Alberta, Sharon Teichroeb of Alberta and Derryl Garrett of
New Brunswick, sister-in-law, Jean of Saint John, NB, brother-in-law,
Graham Garrett of Hoyt, NB, special friends, Diane and Randy Golding
of McAdam, NB and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Edgar and brother James Hunter.
Resting at St George’s Anglican Church, McAdam, NB,
funeral service will be on Friday July 5, 2024 at 1 pm.
Family will receive friends at St George’s Anglican Church,
McAdam, NB on Friday July 5, 2024 from 12 pm until service
time.
Interment will be at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB
following the service.
