1956-2024
Peggy Ann Justason, 67, of St.
George, NB passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2024. She was
born to Clara and the late Keith McDowell on May 30, 1956 in Blacks
Harbour, NB.
A loving wife of 47 years to
William “Bill” Justason, mother to Gregory (Megan) Justason
of Canal, and Lisa (Warren) Giesbrecht of Breadalbane. Beloved Nanny
Peg to 8 grandchildren: Lauryn (Seth), Brooke, Evan, Claire, William,
Cole, Lena, and Cora. She is survived by her brother Wayne (Sally)
McDowell of Pennfield, sister Linda (Bart) of Moncton, and
brother-in-law Barry (Sonja) Justason of Pennfield.
Peggy had an uncanny ability to
light up any room she entered. Her love for Jesus and people shone
bright, and you always knew how loved you were. With her natural wit
and love for a good laugh, she was able to make any situation seem
lighter by just being in her presence. Peggy was a great cook with a
gift for hosting her family and many others; you would never leave her
house hungry. Throughout her strong and brave fight with
cancer for 4 years, her faith never faltered. It’s a
“win-win” she would often say. I get to stay longer here on
this Earth or go be with Jesus – the ultimate
healing.
The family would like to extend
their sincere gratitude to Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural for their
kind and compassionate care. The love they extended to her will be
forever appreciated.

be appreciated. A visitation will be held from the Sea View Full
Gospel Church, Back Bay, NB on Wednesday, January 3 from
6-8pm and a celebration of life on Thursday, January 4 at 5pm with
Pastor Mark McCluskey officiating.
