The passing of Nicholas Clifford Nodding occurred
unexpectedly in Beaver Harbour NB on December 10, 2023. Born in Saint
John NB on September 29, 1990, he was a son of Lorena (Keating)
Leavitt and the late Clifford “Cliffy” Eugene
Nodding.
A loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend,
Nick is survived by his mother: Lorena (Mike) Leavitt of Beaver
Harbour NB; one brother: Mark (Tanya) Crocker of Digby NS; one sister:
Jacalyn (Dan) Acheson of St. Stephen NB; one niece: Josslyn; one
nephew: Benjamin; maternal grandmother: Nancy (Gary) Huston of
Kingston NS; several aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.
Nick was currently employed with Nuna Logistics Limited on
Baffin Island as a Heavy Equipment Operator, a career in which he was
most proud of and enjoyed the adventure of the remote work on Baffin
Island. Nick had also driven truck on the ice roads for three years.
He was not afraid of tackling anything and welcomed any adventure that
came his way. He was an avid extreme sports fanatic who loved ripping
around on his 4-wheeler. He will be sadly missed by his family,
friends and his faithful four-legged companion,
Trouble.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no
visiting or service held at this time. In Nick’s memory,
donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
