Robert “Bobby” LeBlanc, 59, passed away
peacefully surrounded by his loving family by his side on Thursday
January 4, 2024, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in
Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of Bernard and Murielle (Landry)
LeBlanc of Haute-Aboujagane.
He worked for Bernie’s Plastering for 40
years which he owned with his beloved father and brother, Paul. Bobby
enjoyed hunting, biking, and going on his side by
side.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of 36
years, Della LeBlanc nee Melanson; one daughter, Jenny LeBlanc of
Haute-Aboujagane, who was his pride and joy; two brothers: Paul (Lise)
of Haute-Aboujagane and his twin, Pierre “Pete” of Shediac;
three sisters: Mona LeBlanc, Monique Richard (Gilles), and Anise
LeBlanc (Marcel) all of Haute-Aboujagane, as well as many nieces and
nephews.
A special thank you to the Extra Mural, Oncology
department staff, as well as Dr. Joel Gray, Dr Cynthia Savoy, and Dr.
Rhéal Boudreau for the wonderful care that Bobby
received.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette
Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (506-532-3297)
on Friday January 12 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm
only. The funeral service will be
celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 944, Route 933,
Haute-Aboujagane on Saturday January 13 at 10:30
am. Interment will be in the Sacré-Coeur parish
cemetery in Haute-Aboujagane.
In memory of Bobby,
a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) would be
appreciated.
Cremation and
funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, Shediac.
