It is with great
sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Odette Leger at the Dr.
Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Tuesday, December 5th,
2023, at the age of 84 years. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of
the late Léandre and Maria (Girouard)
Léger.
She was an exceptional
teacher, an avid reader, travelled the world, and loved nature,
especially the ocean.
She leaves to mourn
her children: Monique (Bruce), Carole, Michel and Charline; a
granddaughter Danie (Benjamin) and a great grandson, Jaxson; a sister:
Bernice (late Yvon-Guy); two brothers: Léo (Susan) and
Jean-Paul, as well as several nephews, nieces and
cousins.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac, on Monday, December 11 from 12 pm to 2:15 pm. A
chapel service will be held at 2:30 pm.
In memory of Odette,
in lieu of flowers, a contribution to the New Brunswick Alzheimer
Society would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral
