Norbert Cormier, 69,
passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC on Tuesday, December 26,
2023. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Gérard
and Céline (Gallant) Cormier.
He is survived by a
son Jeffrey Fougère of Shediac, the mother of his son,
Annette Fougère of Shediac; his five brothers: Raymond
(late Rachel), Gérard (Linda), Lorenzo, Jean-Charles and
Edvin (Yvette); a sister, Angela McPhee; three sisters-in-law: Rose
Cormier of Shediac, Claudette Martin of Shediac and Jeanette Cormier
of Bouctouche and a brother-in-law André LeBlanc of
Bouctouche.
He was predeceased by
two sisters: Cécile LeBlanc and Laurentine Cormier; four
brothers: Abraham, Armand, Alphée and Léonce
“Nini”.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac on Saturday, December 30, from 9 am to 10:45 am. The
chapel service will be held at 11 am.
In memory of Norbert,
a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
