Néri
Gérard LeBlanc, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully
surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Villa du
Repos, Moncton. Born in Dupuis Corner, he was the son of the late
Gérard and Geneva (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Before his retirement,
he was co-owner of Wagon Wheel and Léon d’Or of
Saint Antoine, a veneer plasterer and a fisherman.
He is survived by his
four children: Marie-Reine LeBlanc, Michel LeBlanc both of Lakeville,
Gérarda Raywoth of Cocagne and Francine LeBlanc of
Trois-Ruisseaux, the mother of his children Rose Boudreau LeBlanc; his
three siblings: Jean-Paul LeBlanc (late Valerie Peron) of Moncton,
Majella McDonald-Patry of Ontario, and
Marie-Thérèse LeBlanc (Dave Nichols) of
Vancouver, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well several
nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, he
was predeceased by his daughter Murielle and a sister
Gérarda Brine.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Saturday,
June 8th at 10:30 am. Visiting hours are from 9
am to 10:15 am.
In memory of
Néri, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would
be appreciated.
