Guillaume Porelle, 65,
passed away on Thursday December 21, 2023, at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont
UHC. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Azor and
Émerise (Richard) Porelle.
He worked at the glass
factory for 32 years. Avid fan of the Montreal Canadian, he loved
played hockey in the winter and enjoyed going for drives with his
motorcycle.
He is survived by his
wife of 36 years, Regane Porelle nee Brun; two sons: André
(Catherine) and Mathieu both of Haute-Aboujagane; three sisters:
Juliette Porelle of Shediac, Norma LeBlanc (Roger) of Memramcook, and
Sonia Porelle (Allain Gallant) of Haute-Aboujagane; one grandson,
Jaxon, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents,
he was predeceased by a brother, André.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac (506-532-3297) on Wednesday December 27 from 7 to 9 pm
only. The funeral service will be
celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R.C. Church, 944 route 933,
Haute-Aboujagane on Thursday December 28 at 10:30 am.
Interment will be in Sacré-Coeur parish cemetery
in Haute-Aboujagane.
In memory of
Guillaume, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology)
would be appreciated.
Cremation and funeral arrangements
are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre,
Shediac.
