At his residence in
Shediac, surrounded by his loving family, Gérard Cormier,
71, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2024. Born in Shediac, he was
the son of the late Gérald “Dolore” et
Céline (Cormier) Cormier.
He is survived by his
special friend Linda Gautreau), his four children: Jean-Claude, Donny
(Nicole), Michel, and Cathy Gautreau (Daniel Hope) all of Shediac;
siblings: Angela McPhee, Jean-Charles, Raymond (late Rachel), Edvin
(Yvette), and Lorenzo; three grandchildren: Danyka (Miah), Bianca, and
Malika and four sisters-in-law: Rose Cormier, Claudette Cormier,
Jeannette Cormier, and Annette Fougère, several nieces and
nephew as well as his special friends, Bear his dog and Malik his
cat.
He was predeceased by
his siblings: Abraham, Armand “Jackie”, Laurentine,
Alphée, Cécile, Léonce
“Nini”, and Norbert “Curler”.
The family will
receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main
Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Wednesday
March 20 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are from 1 pm to 2:45
pm.

Gérard, a contribution to the Fondation CHU Dumont
Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated.
