Eveline Hébert, 96, of Moncton, passed away on
Thursday November 30, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.
Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Alphée
and Alida (Gaudet) Cormier.
Prior to her retirement, Eveline worked for the Religieuses
Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur.
She is survived by six children: Oscar (Joan) of Dieppe,
Denise LeCouffe (Richard) of Moncton, Diane Caissie (Vernon) of
Shediac, Charles of Moncton, Ginette Dupuis (Guy) of
Pré-d’en-Haut, and Michel of Moncton; eight
grandchildren: Marc, André, Mathieu, Michel, Denis, Paul,
Nicholas, and Luc; six great-grandchildren: Malyka, Sofiya,
Améliya, Alexi, Bella, and Hunter; two brothers: Phyllias
(late Dévita) of Massachusetts and Léonide
(Anita) of Grande-Digue; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Euclide (2018); her infant son, Paul; and four siblings: Rita,
Gérard, Désiré, and
Léona.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dre
Chantal Gallant, Dr. Bernard Godin, the nurses, and support staff of
Unit 4C at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for their exceptional care
provided to Eveline.
In accordance with Eveline’s wishes, a private
funeral service will be celebrated. Interment will be at Our Lady of
Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Eveline, a contribution to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral
arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, Moncton (506-858-1900).
