Dorilla Dallaire, 90, of
Haute-Aboujagane, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2024 at her
residence. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late
Alderic and Agnes (Cormier) Richard.
Prior to her retirement,
Dorilla worked at Paturel for close to 30 years. She loved playing
darts, bingo, doing crosswords, and bird watching. Dorilla will always
be remembered as a very loving and welcoming
person.
She is survived by two
daughters: Rosella (Amédé) of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, and Linda Melanson (Paul) of Haute-Aboujagane;
four sons: Robert (Rosella) of Saint-André, Raoul (Louise),
Allain, and René (Paulette) all of Haute-Aboujagane; one
sister,, Florence LeBlanc (Valmond Boudreau) of Shediac; one brother,
Norbert (Florence) of Haute-Aboujagane; nine grandchildren: Stephane,
Jolyne, Karen, Joel, Chris, Yves, Shane, Brian, and Patrick; seven
great-grandchildren; as well as several nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by
her husband, Aubrey Dallaire (2020); eight sisters: Lucie Boudreau,
Yvonne Léger, Dorice Richard, Thérèse
Richard, Rose LeBlanc, Huberte Bourque, Marie Richard, and Emerise
Porelle; six brothers: Adrice, Arthur, Ulysse, Camille, Yvon, and
Eric.
A private funeral service
was held at Frenette Funeral
and Cremation Centre,
Shediac. Interment will be in the Frenette Columbarium, Shediac. In
memory of Dorilla, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
or MS Canada would be appreciated.
