1966-2024
It is with broken hearts that the family of Wendy Gail Jack
announces her sudden passing at the Moncton City Hospital on Friday,
June 7th, 2024 at the age of 57. Born August 15th, 1966 in St. John,
NB she was the daughter to the late John and Norma (Branscombe)
Melvin.
Wendy is survived by her husband and partner, Allan
Jack of 35 years; her daughter, Jennifer Melvin (Mark
Dibblee); grandchildren, Katelyn Melvin and Carter Dibblee
of Bloomfield, NB; her step children, Timothy of Canaan and
Ashley of Riverview; her siblings: Joyce McFarlane Riverview, Judy
VandeBrand (Fred) of Penobsquis, Brenda Melvin (Paul) of Cap-Pele,
James Melvin (Monique) of Dieppe, Beth Stanley of USA, John Melvin of
Sylvan Lake, AB, Michael Melvin (Cynthia) of Ottawa; her
Sisters-in-law, Shirley (Rick) Virtue of Knightville and Mary and
Richard Wright of North Carolina; her special aunt, Carol Branscombe
of Sus; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Wendy was predeceased by her daughter,
Sharon Vey; brother-in-law, Hugh McFarlane and her in-laws, David and
Frances Jack.
Wendy loved working in their flower beds with Allan, she was
always up for her favorite blueberry muffin at Tim Hortons, had a real
passion for watching birds especially the hummingbirds and wildlife
that often wondered through the yard. She dearly loved decorating and
preparing for Christmas especially when Katelyn was young. Wendy loved
her kitties and dogs very much; they were awesome company as she would
say.
Wendy worked for 21 years at the Royal Gardens in Penobsquis.
A job she thoroughly enjoyed and where she had made many
friends.
Wendy was loved by family and friends and she will be dearly
missed by all.
We all would like to thank Dr. Nayak, Dr. Cormier, Dr. Alonie
as well as the Extra Mural team of nurses for all their care and
kindness shown to Wendy. You all are so appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. A Graveside service will be held from the
New Elgin Cemetery on Friday, June 14th at
10:30am.

be appreciated by the family.
