1938-2023
Shirley Anne Colpitts, 85, of Salisbury passed away
unexpectedly December 24, 2023 at home. Born in Moncton the only child
of the late Conrad and Elsie (Taylor) Bleakney and widow of Ronald,
she lived her entire life in the village. She was member of Salisbury
Baptist Church and of the former Salisbury Lioness. She enjoyed
crocheting, gardening the Sunday gatherings at the cottage in Little
River and time spent with her family.
Survived by her boys and their families,
Wayne (Heather), Keith, Brent (Kathy) and Bradley, cherished
grandchildren Tyler (Maria), Amy Wilson (Travis), Alex (Kati), Laura
Colpitts (Andrew) and Evan, great grandchildren Katie,
Kessler, Jericah, Kali and very soon to arrive Ada June Shirley and by
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Shirley is predeceased by
her daughter in law, Betty-Ann.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home,
3350 Rt 106 with visitation Thursday December 28 from 6- 8 p.m. The
Funeral will be held Friday December 29 at 11 a.m. from Salisbury
Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Sutherland officiating. Interment at
Pine Hill Cemetery.
If desired memorials to a local food bank would be
appreciated by the family.
