1988-2024
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Megan
Rebecca Kelly, surrounded by her family, at the Albert House Hospice
on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Born March 8th, 1988, she is lovingly
remembered by her parents Dan and Lenora Kelly; fiancé Ryan
McTavish; sister Amanda Kelly; cherished nephew and niece Jack and Mya
and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Megan obtained her BN at UNB with honours, working in St.
John Orthopedics and Foothills ICU in Calgary for twelve years. Megan
loved her work and fellow colleagues.
Megan had an adventurous spirit and her passion was travel,
always planning the next trip. She volunteered with the Animal Rescue
in Calgary and coached youth volleyball. Her kindness and
thoughtfulness of others will not be forgotten.
Megan’s family and friends were the foundation of
her life. She will be missed and treasured forever.
She was a special fur Mom to Cheddar.
Special thanks to all who cared for Megan and to the
wonderful staff at Albert House for their compassion and loving
care.
A Celebration of Megan’s Life will be held at the
Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506)372-4800 on Monday,
September 16 from 6 pm – 8 pm. A private graveside service
will be held at the Loyalist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Megan to the
Albert House Hospice, Loyalist Cemetery or charity of choice would be
appreciated by the family.
