1953-2024
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of
Marlene Rose Beaman, 71, on July 4, 2024 at the Orchard View Care
Home, Gagetown. Born in Moncton, she was a daughter to the late John
& Leola (Lewis) Smith.
Marlene loved her family, making bread, animals and
especially the dogs. In her earlier years she worked at D&J
Stables and raising all the kids in her later years. She loved going
fishing with Elzie in their years together. She was a life-long member
of the Second North River Baptist Church.
Marlene is survived and sadly missed by her children: Cindy
Patterson (Terry) and Mark Beaman (Laura); her siblings: Richard Smith
(Gail), Norman Smith (Judy), Sylvia Smith, Larry Smith (Marsha) and
Dennis Smith (Donna); her sister in-law, Sheila Coleman; her
grandchildren: Ryan (Teagan), Victoria (Will) and Rebecca (Cail); her
great-grandchildren: Georgia, Brynley, Presley as well as many nieces,
nephews and friends.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the
Orchard View Long Term Care Home for their extended
care.
Besides her parents, Marlene was predeceased by her husband,
Elzie of 50 years as well as her cherished in-laws, Flora &
Walter Beaman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home, 506-372-4800. Funeral and the Interment will take place
at the Prosser Brook Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations
made to the Second North River Baptist Church, Parkinson’s
or a charity of the donor’s choice.
