Frank Eastwick
1950-2024
Frank Marlen Eastwick, 73 of Anagance passed away
unexpectedly at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 8,
2024.
Born and raised in Anagance, Frank found his love
for cars at a young age. He could be found working in the autobody
shop as a painter, or racing on the River Glade Speedway. One skill
that amazed me as a young kid was Grampy Frank’s ability to
name the make and model of an old car when it drove by. From a young
age, Frank helped out on a local farm and eventually had his own where
he raised cows, turkeys and chickens.
Frank enjoyed telling stories of his life and
reminiscing on the mischief he got into back in the day. He talked
about his time growing up in Anagance, and how he and his brother,
Klein, kept their mother on her toes. He loved to talk about his
family. He talked about when his daughter, Nancy, was growing up; she
was always a few steps behind him, following her Dad everywhere he
went. His son, Jason, took over the farm for Frank and worked to help
it grow. His grandkids were his pride and joy; always talking about
them and wanting to know more about the amazing things they were
doing. I think that the mischief Frank got into back in the day made
him an even better grandfather; wise and funny, always having a story
to make you feel better about the situation you might have ended up
in.
Frank was predeceased by his parents: Chester and
Myrtle (Coates) Eastwick and his wife, Marion (MacKenzie) Eastwick. He
is survived and will be dearly missed by his brother: Klein; his
children: Nancy Colby (Tim), and Jason Eastwick (Lindsey); girlfriend
and companion: Anna Linkletter; niece: Tara Eastwick and
grandchildren: Emily, Christopher, Jamison, Preslea, Parker, Tyler and
Connor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Monday,
April 15 from noon until time of service at 1 pm with Pastor Paul
Leger officiating. Interment in Anagance Cemetery.
If desired, donations in memory of Frank to the
Anagance Cemetery would be appreciated.
