1945-2023
Ednah Marie Dornan, 78 of Salisbury passed away
suddenly but peacefully with loving family by her side on Saturday,
Dec 23, 2023 at the Jordan LifeCare Centre, The Glades,
NB.
Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the
late Clyde and Almeta (Linkletter) Jones. Ednah was retired from JDI
Seed Orchard. She enjoyed many things including, quilting, bingo,
cards, hockey, baseball, and music. She was well known for her wit and
you always wondered what her comeback would be.
She is survived and will be sadly missed by her
two sons, Blaine (Wendy) and Blake (Sue); cherished niece Mavis
(Henry) Nicholson; grandchildren Micah, Jared
Robertson-Dornan; Nicholas, Patrick Patterson, Kristen, Sydnee
Klooster, Carrie Collette; Tamara Harper, Danielle Thomas, Alix
Thorguard; and great grandchildren Matthew, Emma Collette, Lilly
Lloyd-Klooster, Alyssa Keenan, Beaudin Inglis; Alysha, Teagan, Tanner,
Tailyn Harper, Mikayla Thomas, Isabelle, Rowan Charleton, Amelia Paul,
Anderson Belding, Scarlett, Elek Thorguard; brothers Lloyd (Jean)
Jones, Ivan Jones and Danny (Susan) Jones; sister Barb (late Warren)
Brown; several nieces and nephews; long time friend Marlene Tracey,
and new friend Neta Hopper. Predeceased by her brothers Herb and
Charlie Jones; sister Marjorie Henry; brother in-Law Dean Henry;
infant granddaughter Nicole Patterson and long time friend &
quilting pal, Freda Wilson.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Ednah at
the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106 (372-4800) Saturday,
December 30 with visitation from 12:30 pm until time of service at
1:30 pm with Pastor Derrick Carnahan officiating. Interment
at Pine Hill Cemetery at a later date.
We wish to thank Dr. Brown, Dr. Morton, and all
the Nurses and Staff at the Jordan LifeCare Centre for the loving care
shown to Ednah. We felt so fortunate to know the high level of care
received by you all. God Bless!
