1950-2023
Charles (Charlie) William Gray, 73, of Moncton
passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Percy
and Frances (Fowler) Gray. Charles worked for the City of Moncton as a
Foreman at Centennial Park until his retirement. Charles’ greatest joy
was spending time with his grandchildren. He loved hunting, fishing
and later in life a passion for golf.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years
Violet (Richardson); daughters Cathy Mazerolle (Shane) and Lisa Gray
(Beny); grandchildren Alyssa, Megan, Mya and Ava; sisters Dorothy
Adams, Theresa Melanson, Bonnie Peters, Hazel Gray, Patty Gray; a
chosen sister Elizabeth Gray and several nieces and nephews. Besides
his parents he was predeceased by his brother Percy.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route (506-372-4800) with visiting Sunday
November 26 from 6 pm – 8 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place
Monday at 11 am with Pastor John Woodcock officiating. Interment at
Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
If desired, donations in memory of Charles to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation, NB Lung Association or a charity of
choice would be appreciated.
