With immense sadness yet fond memories, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, Wayne Bizeau, who departed this world on April 2, 2024. Wayne’s journey began in Saint John on March 24,1960, as the cherished son of John and Corrine (Pitre) Bizeau.
Besides his parents, Wayne is survived by the devoted love of his life, Linda, of 40 plus years. Their union was blessed with two loving children Breanna (Jamie) Hoar and Brandon (Hillary) Bizeau, who continue to embody Wayne’s spirit of kindness and resilience. His pride and joy, his grandchildren Olivia and Evan Hoar that will always know how much Wayne loved them. Plus, his loyal canine companion Boomer, siblings Christine (Norman) Henry, Johnny (Tammy), Kevin (Lynn), Glen (Andrea), mother-in-law Rhoda Merrithew, sister-in-law Marianna (Darren), brother-in-law Peter (Stacey) as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by father-in-law Douglas Merrithew.
Wayne’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, laughter, and camaraderie. As a highly skilled Welder with Local 213, Wayne not only mastered his craft but also cultivated lifelong friendships. His craftsmanship extended beyond metal as he showcased his creativity and skill in woodworking, leaving behind cherished pieces that will forever hold his essence. In his workshop sanctuary, affectionately known as “Wayne’s World,” he fostered great times and lasting memories.
Wayne was the heart and soul of every gathering. His passion for music and culinary delights was infectious, which included his legendary “Grease-Fests” held at his beloved cottage on Washademoak Lake. Yet amidst all the good times, Wayne’s greatest joy was found in the company of his family and friends.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who offered support and solace during this trying time, with special appreciation to the compassionate caregivers at Extra Mural, Stan Cassidy, and Lawton’s Home HealthCare.
Memories of Wayne will be cherished eternally, and his spirit will continue to illuminate the lives of those he touched. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 2 – 4 pm & 6 – 8 pm at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John. A celebration of Wayne’s vibrant life will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 5 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to a charity close to your heart, honoring his legacy. Wayne may have bid farewell to this world but his spirit will forever dance among us.
