Viola “Violet” Mailman Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Viola “Violet” Marie Mailman, loving wife of Wayne Mailman, wish to announce her passing which occurred on November 25, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB, December 3, 1952, of the late Robert and Marieanne Hachey.
Besides her husband Wayne, she is survived by her son, Wayne (Melanie), her daughter, Debbie (Steve), her 2 cherished grandchildren, Brady and Ella Rae, her brother, Edward (Yvette), sisters: Imelda (Everett), Laurenda, and Margaret (Lloyd), along with her many cousins, brothers/sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.
Violet loved playing Bingo and cards with her family and friends but what was most important to her was Wayne, her two children, and her two grandchildren who meant the world to her.
In addition to her parents, Violet is predeceased by her sisters Emily and Stella and by her brothers Romeo, Delfris, and Lionel and special friends Colleen and Donald.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 4CN for their compassionate care.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506) 646-2424. Following cremation, the service will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00AM, at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.
