T. Joseph Dempsey Obituary
Surrounded by his loving family, T. Joseph Dempsey passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Jacquet River, NB, on November 8, 1934, he was a son of the late Myles and Mary “Elizabeth” (nee. Daigle) Dempsey.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Angelina; son Wayne (Leanne); daughters: Andrea (John), Sharon (Robbie), and Cynthia (Jason); grandchildren: Chad, Tasha (Fanessa), Billy, Brent (Nicoletta), Madison, Claire (Mark), Taylor, Brianna, Kendra, and Kyle; great grandchildren: Dexter, Hazel Mae, Madison, Ava, Mason, Charley, and Acen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Myles; sisters: Gertrude, Lylla, Elaine, Stella, and Inez; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3; (506) 646-2425. Visitation for Joseph will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (74 Almon Ln, Rothesay, NB E2E 5K1) starting at 11:00 AM. Following the mass a reception will be held at the church with a private family burial taking place after.
