Obituary of Robert John Perry
Robert John Perry passed peacefully into heaven, surrounded by his loving family at Bobby’s Hospice on October 30, 2023, on his 83rd year.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marlene Evelyn Perry; daughters, Debra Perry (Mark Mitchell), Christine Thomas (David); son, Stephen Perry (Kim); grandchildren, Haley Thomas, Kendal Starkes (Matthew), Zachary Blizzard, Devan Thomas (Jennifer), Matthew Lemay, Aidan Perry, Brody Perry, Bailey Perry, Maeve Perry; great-grandchildren, Reagan Thomas, Parker Thomas; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, John M. Perry and Dorothy P. (Janes) Perry; brothers, David F. Perry, Ronald L. Perry; infant grandson, Matthew P. Thomas.
Bob worked as an electrician for the Irving Pulp and Paper Mill and also 30 years at Irving Paper Mill. He was a dedicated member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting with Davey and working at his cottage in McDonald’s Point.
The family would like to thank Extra Mural and the staff at Bobby’s Hospice for their loving and exceptional care.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick, E2K-3H6, (506-634-7424). A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023, beginning at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 – 12:00 PM. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery (Sand Cove Road). In Lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice or Forest Hills Baptist Church.
