Obituary of Molly Bonnevie
Molly Josephine Bonnevie of Saint John, NB, the wife of the late Yvon (Ivan) Bonnevie, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Chipman, NB on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the age of 88 years. Molly was born in Saint John on September 3, 1935, the daughter of the late Willard and Marion (Martin) Nesbitt.
She was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had a love for country music.
Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Martin (Buster) Nesbitt, and Art Nesbitt, and sisters, Irene Arsenault and Georgina Clynick.
She is survived by her children, Pam Bonnevie-Price (Brad) and Kevin Bonnevie (Sherry); grandchildren, Jessica Caissie (Chris), Nicole Caissie (Luke), Melanie Bonnevie (Tyler); her greatest joy was her great-grandson, Owen Ferguson.
A celebration of Molly’s life will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row in Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 11 am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
