Margaret Peggy Bodley Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret Peggy Preshyon (Jesso) Bodley which occurred on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, at the Saint john Regional Hospital. Born on January 15th, 1951, in Cape St. George, she is the daughter of the late Augustine and Theresa (Young) Jesso. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crafts, gardening, painting and redecorating. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her daughter Lorrie Leblanc (Paul) of Willow Grove; brothers Clarence Jesso of Saint John, Richard Jesso of Newfoundland, twin brother Carter Jesso of Newfoundland; sisters Gail Glover of Saint John, Viola Benoit of Halifax; grandchildren Kyla, Celina (Brandon), Crystal (Mark), Tyson; great grandchildren Clarity, Silver, Xavier, McKenna, Kayden; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her husband Wallace, son Jason, brother Bobby and sister Tilley.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home. 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, April 11th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Friday, April 12th at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Everyone is welcome to join us at Bleachers Sports Bar (216 Loch Lomond Road) immediately following the service, to continue sharing memories of Peggy. Donations in memory of Peggy may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
