Margaret Stevens Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Margaret Jean Stevens announces her passing on November 26, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Beaver Harbour, NB, on March 15, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Bernice (Dixon) Wright.
Margaret enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing. She truly enjoyed life. She loved her special cat, Lucky.
Margaret is survived by her children Herbert (Heather), Shelley (Kyle Wright), and Tammy (Duane Gillis) Stevens; sister Laura Tobias; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband Robert Stevens and sisters Royce Armstrong, Della Kennedy, and Alda Eldridge.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of 3CN at the Saint John Regional Hospital and Daeka Care Facility for their kindness and care for Margaret during her time there.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. In keeping with her wishes, a private celebration of life will be held. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the SPCA.
